HAL ACPI Multiprocessor PC versus ACPI Uniprocessor PC on Win2K8 R2 x64
Hello,
In Windows Server 2003 x86, the notion of multi-processor versus uni-processor was critical to consider when upgrading from a single-processor to multiple processors on the server.
Does this notion still exist under Windows Server 2008 R2 x64?

I believe the OS is HAL independent, no need to worry about it anymore
