Group Policy to Audit Software's Installed in a Computer

Hello All,

Lets make it Simple.

Domain Controller = DC = Server 2012 R2

Member Server 1 = MBSRV1 = Server 2012 R2

Domain Client = CL1 = Windows 8.1 Ent

@ DC i have OU = TechComputers = Contains 86 CL1 Machines

@ DC i have OU = TechUsers = Users with Privilege to Install Software

TechUsers have Authority to Install Software in Computer.

QUE : Can i generate Report with the Help Of GROUP POLICY which contains List of Number of

Software's installed @ TechComp ?

Thanks for your post.

As far as I know, you could block unwanted softwares or block unallow softwares by GPO but GPO cannot report and uninstall softwares.

You could try to use powershell scripts to get the List of Installed Application from computers .
