I've created a group policy that pushes a piece of software out to the users....it works on all Windows 7 machines, but not XP machines. Any ideas as to why?

I might be wrong but you probably need to add KB943729 to the xp systems.

To troubleshoot this issue, please check whether this software is compatible with Windows XP system. Is it supported in Windows XP?

We can also run GPResult on the Windows XP client to check whether the GPO is applied.

Do you know how to set software deployment policy via powershell not by GUI?
