Group Management FIM Portal

Hello,

I am trying to do Group management in the portal, but I have thousands of groups, currently we want to run a pilot of manageable groups in the portal, I have set an attribute on the groups and want to only allow users to see the groups that have that attribute.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hello,

yes you can, create a set for the Groups with that Attribute and give users only permissions to that Groups via an MPR.

When I am trying to export the groups via FIM Service MA, I get the following error

Any ideas?

I am not sure which attribute it doesn't like.

I know it is saying that one of the attributes is not Binded for a group type. but not sure

Did you a Schema refresh on the FIM Service MA ?

I found the answer, it had to do with precedence on the Attribute.
