GPO setting to allow the use of the snipping tool

I work for a school district and our student accounts don't have the same access to programs as the teachers and other staff do, for good reason. Each high school has it's own default GPO for their students. And so the start menu program list for students is for the most part empty. My question is, is there a way to add a shortcut to just the snipping tool to their start menus? I found the setting that adds/removes all the "common program groups" from the start menu but that includes way more than just the one snipping tool.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi JMiller,

Thanks for your post.

You could not do this by using traditional Group Policies, you could  use group policy preferences to create a pinned shortcut in the start menu.
