GPO Printers. Stuck on "Applying Group Policy Printers" for unexplainably long times... YET AGAIN!!

I have a print server and an RDS server.

Print server is 2012R2 and RDS is 2008 R2 with all Windows Updates.

I am deploying printers via GPO, I have configured every setting for this to work correctly. Point and Print restrictions are disabled.

I have installed the exact same driver on both servers.

When the user logs in they receive a delay of minutes.

I have installed KB2853367 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/kb/2853367/en-us which appears to be the issue that has plagues me every single time I have touched Group Policy, Printers and RDS/TS environments.

The client, despite having the correct drivers installed, appears to download and install each of the dozen printers drivers every time it logs on a new users.

This is also despite there only being 3 different drivers - latest Xerox, Lexmark and Ricoh UPDs. It gets stuck on each for the same amount of time as observed via a manual deletion and reinstallation via GPUPDATE /FORCE so not a "bad driver" or anything.

It is simply everything about GPP printers and RDS environments is broken -  IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS FUCKING HARD/THIS MUCH OF A CLUSTERFUCK NIGHTMARE EVERYTIME.

I have been here posting about this issue over and over for FUCKING YEARS. EVERYTHING IS DONE BY THE FUCKING BOOK. I've been here yet again pulling my hair out when every single indication is it should not behave like this.

Everyone on the printing and GPP teams should be fired for this way you tread the people supporting your products and new people brought in who can make this JUST FUCKING WORK.

Printer isolation used to give me headache like that. So I set to 'none' the isolation for all drivers.

It's easy to see, check when a userlogon if you see printisolationhost.exe or splwow64.exe (for x32 driver) spike.
