As per MSDN Crawled properties are metadata that are extracted from documents during crawls. How can I know a from where a property was getting crawled (like property was crawled from list or library or from content type ) ?

As per my understanding from the link there is no way that we can find from where a particular property was crawled , please correct me if am wrong.

The best you can do when trying figure out where a crawled property originated is to look at the site column's internal name. When you create a new site column the internal name is used as a prefix. However, there are many built-in crawled properties that are undocumented where they are mapped to.
