From a Windows XP Client I need to discover which server I am logged on to
I have 3 Windows 2003R2 servers on three linked sites. AD is set so that Users normally logon to their local site, but can 'Fail over' to one of the other sites in extremis.Recently I have had to install a second server alongside a failing server on one of the sites. All appears to be working fine, but as I now progress through the final stages of integration prior to removing the failing server, I have a need for a quick way to check which of the servers I am actually logged onto from any PC?I suspect that despite my efforts so far 1 or2 machines are still logging on to the non-preferred server!I thought that this would be an easy thing to do, but no luck so far ;-(Maurice
