Hi Mohamed, Should you have a domain, then probably the best choice would be to run into DSA.MSC (userss & computers management) and simply reset the administrator password. If not in a domain, then just login to your server, move to "manage users" and reset the password. I could not believe an adminsitrator could left the company and simply not left an admin pass somewhere. More than this, it is more than probable that your admin used at least a second admin account, in case of corrupt password or something like that. Rgds,

Hello, the official statement from Microsoft is you have to reinstall. If that is a domain hopefully you have an additional admin account so you can reset the administrator password. Your domain password or local admin password? I have used Windows Password Recovery Ultimate to help me recover lost Windows Server 2008 domain password by DIY a password reset disk. Also, it helped me create a new domain admin account for me at last! Hope it also helps you much!
