Hi allI have a folder structure on which I tried to change the onwer from the administrators group to another file admin group. That worked fine.My problem is now, if I create a new folder, the default owner is the administrators group! Why?RegardsPeter

the default owner of a new folder is controlled by GPOComputer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\System Objects: Default owner of objects created by members of the Administrators group* Administrators group (default)* Object creatorThe folders are defaulting to Administrators group because you created them and you are an admin.Cheng the GPO and the folders will be owned by the creator.
