File Server Resource Manager SMTP.
Hello,How can I alter the port that is used for connecting to the SMTP server to send report emails as the SMTP server is not running on the default port 25 for security reasons. If I try x.x.x.x:125 (125 is my SMTP port) it fails to connect with "The transport failed to connect to the server". To test, I connected via telnet to the SMTP server and I connected fine and was able to manually send a email. Thanks,Tom

Hello, Based on my research, Email notification function in File Server Resource Manager doesnt support custom SMTP port. Only the standard SMTP port is supported. I will confirm whether there is any work around to solve this issue. If so, I'll let you konw. Regards, Neo Zhu

Hello, Since so long time I wanted to know if now it is possible because I have the same Pb. I'm using, for security reasons, the 825 port instead of the 25 and I'm not able to parameter the SMTP of my File Server Ressource Manager. Thanks in advance. Kind Regards Bodays
