Failed to schedule Software Protection
Hi, I have this error in the Event Viewer on Windows Server 2008 R2: Failed to schedule Software Protection service for re-start at 2012-11-24T20:47:43Z. Error Code: 0x80041321. How can I fix the problem with Software Protection service?-- Jozef Izso (MCPD)

0x80041321 = Task image is corrupt or has been tampered with http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winservergen/thread/6f986797-0db9-454d-9979-dbc625f09b82 There's a chance running sfc.exe /scannow might fix it. Has the update readiness tool been run without error? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/What-is-the-System-Update-Readiness-Tool?SignedIn=1 Then check the %SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log file for errors.
