FTP problem
Hello I am new to window server. I have never run a server before but I decided to try one out just to test it. I am running it inside a virtual machine... VMware. I have it network connected in bridge mode so it has it's own IP on my network. I can ping it from the other computers on my network. But sometimes it seems slow to respond. I had 25% packet loss once. And FTP takes a 1-3 tries for it to connect. I am not sure if that is because of the VM or because of something I haven't done. I added the FTP role and manager as well. When I connect with ftp I have to log in with my administrator password and username administrator.......... pwd says I am logged in the root directory ls lists no files at all. I am wondering if i am in the root directory then how can there be no files?
