FIM Certificate Manager Enroll Policy
I'm currently evaluating the capabilities of FIM 2010 Certificate Manager. When I create a profile template and review the General Settings of the Enroll Policy, I see a setting for 'Allow collection of comments'. The value is enabled. However, when I edit the General Settings, there is no option to disable the collection of comments. Does anyone know if this is by design...or a bug...or perhaps a problem with my configuration? Sadly, it is by design and cannot be turned off. The rationale is that it forces the user to click something before enrolling a self-service certificate with 0 approvals. This prevents a link from being created where a user will be enticed into enrolling a certificate without their knowledge. The comments screen reveals that they are one click away from getting a certificate. Brian
