Explorer advertisements in new tabs
Explorer 7.0.6000.16643, Dell XPS M2010, Vista, McAfee, Office 2007 Whenever I open Explorer, my home page comes up fine (I have changed home pages and my problem still exists). As soon as I begin a search in any homepage, a new tab pops up withadvertisements. This is not a pop up window, just a new tab next to the one I am using. I spoke with McAfee and was told I possess all their software offers andhave run all scans possible. I could live with this, but a new tab adds every couple of hours while I am in the middle of working. It overrides whatever I am doing, takingme to the new advertisement. I appreciate any assistance you may offer.

Check your computer for malware and adware, with both McAffee and AdAware for example. Remove all instances found. If you need more help in this matter, please post your question in the Vista forum which you can find here: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/default.aspx?ForumGroupID=204&SiteID=17 This forum is for Windows Server 2008.
