Explorer Crashes when viewing network share
Hello, I have one workstation running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3, when I attempt to connect to a network share hosted on Windows 2008 Server Windows Explorer freezes. (I have to open task manager then end the explorer.exe and start it again). However I am still able to map a network drive to the same share and access it - its only crashes when I type in the UNC path e.g \\server001\etc and press enter. Other workstations can connect fine to this share. I am able to connect directly to other shares from this workstation which are hosted by Linux & Windows 2003 servers. Any idea whats wrong? Thanks, Alex
