Expanding from one Disk to another

Brain fart! Is there a way to extend Disk 6 into Disk 2 and Disk 3? I don't know why i'm having a brain fart about it.

I'm used to expanding within the same disk.

I haven't initialized the disk yet, that's why it's showing unknown. I have to wait until after hours in order to do anything here. Once I initialize it, what would the next step be?

In Dsk Manager, right click the basic volme you want to extend.(disk2,disk3)

- Follow the instructions on your screen.

If it's that easy, i'm going to flip!

I thought you could only do that with Dynamic Disks.

Hi,

I think "Extend" is actually convert disks into Dynamic. And I think Windows Server 2003 supports Dynamic already.
