Expand system partition
I've got a 2003R2 DELL server who's C: is only 12gb. I'm almost out of space, so I need to shrink and move an adjacent partition so I can expand C:. In your collective experience, what is the best 3rd party partition tool for a job like this? I've seen recommendations for "Aomei Partition Assistant Server Edition". Is this a reliable tool? Thanks, dpm

I've used GParted (GNU Partition Editor) with quite a bit of success. It's easy and free. Standard warnings about having backups apply! You download an ISO, burn it to CD and off you go. If that doesn't work, you could always create an image of both parttitions, blow them away and recreate them the correct sizes. That assumes you have the time to take down the server. Hi, Before extending the space for Drive C, please make sure you have performed a backup to avoid any unexpected data loss.
