Exit module - sample code
Hi, Can anybody direct me to a sample code that publishes issued certificates from the certificate database of the CA to a MSSQL database? I was wandering in the Internet but so far unsuccessful. Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Vadims, Thank you for the reply. In fact my requirement is to have a MSSQL database of the issued certificate data so that I can do certificate management tasks more easily (eg searching for certificates given different criteria, revocation etc). I went through the your blog post that describes how you can do certain certificate management tasks. But the methods described, directly make a connection with the certificate database. And I was wondering will there be a method to get the CA database to a MSSQL database. (Somewhat similar to what FIM CM does.). I know that FIM CM uses a exit module to update its SQL database whenever there is a change in the CA database. Thank you.

Unfortunately I have no experience in writing custom exit modules. And yes, I know that ILM2007/FIM CM uses custom exit module, but they exist only within these products. The only way is to write your own module, but I don't know how and haven't any examples. My weblog: http://en-us.sysadmins.lv PowerShell PKI Module: http://pspki.codeplex.com Windows PKI reference: on TechNet wiki
