Exclude IE history for indexing
Windows 2008 R2 terminal server.. How do I stop the indexer from index Internet explorer History... I went to the control panel under index options, advanced and file types... Which file types do I need to exclude to IE cache files do not get indexed

Hi,
Please try the steps below:
Under Indexing Options, click Modify, then uncheck the checkbox "Internet Explorer history".

Hello
Thanks for the reply, but it seems I have to do this for every TS users on each TS? I would think there would be GP or something. So every new user I have to go into it and uncheck it ?

For GP, you can check following...
User configuration ==> Windows settings ==>Internet Explorer maintenance ==> Advanced ==> Internet Settings right click Properties ==> Advanced settings. Search over there, you would get some settings to achieve what you want.
