Exchange server question
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controller with a made up name of "name.com", I don't actually own the solid.com domain
Today users mailboxes are hosted on a third party hosting company in a remote site with a legal "@address.com", I want to create exchange server to replace that company.
I want to know if I will be able to create exchange server on my "name.com" domain that will get emails from "@adress.com", what steps will I need to do to accomplish this?
Thank you.http://peteroy.blogspot.com/

you configure this in excchnage 2010 with "accepted domains" (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124423.aspx)
to get them send to your exchange you would have to configure the mx entry of the domains dns server to point to the public ip of your exchange server
