Exchange server 2003 without Active Directory

can i install exchange server 2003 on windows 2003 server on workgroup without active directory.

Even though you can technical install Exchange on a DC, its probably not the best design and I do not recommend it.

i agree with Jorge about the Exchange forum. Also it is not recommended to install Exchange, doesn't matter which version, on domain controllers:
