Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003 Server
Hi All I have Windows 2008 R2 as Domain Controller. I am installing Exchange 2003 server on Windows 2003 Server. But during the install it fails with error: "Setup failed while installing sub-component Exchnage System Management Snap-ins with error code 0x0C103798A (Please consult the installation logs for a detailed description). You may cancel the installation ot try the failed step again." Netdiag, DC diag - has no errors or failures Ran ForestPrep and DomainPrep - no errors during install Did research and found MS KB 887723 but that sounds irrelevant as the setup failes during the install and in this artcle seems the changes are recommended in Exchange Interface. Any help on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks Bhasker P

That's sort of large for a forum post. Near the bottom when you installed the Exchange component, are there any sections that seem to show the error that occurred and can you post 20-40 lines above and below that in a forum reply? -- Mike Burr
