Exchange 2003 Cluster
I am installing an Exchange 2003 cluster for the first time. I have 4 servers that I would like in the cluster. I created the cluster and the MSDTC resource.I'm about to install Exchange on the servers, but I'm curious about where I install it. Do I point to a local disk (C:\program files\exchsrv) or do I point to a shared LUN? If I install it locally, won't the mailbox and public stores be stored locally? It seems like they should be installed in a shared disk, but I've been reading through documentation and I haven't seen that I would need to do that anywhere. This is a little confusing. Any direction would help. Thanks,Scott

I figured it out.I just installedExchange locally. When you create the Exchange Virtual Server in the cluster, it asks you where you want your databases and that's when you point to the LUN.
