We have been having an intermittent problem with Shared Excel files locking up. This usually happens when two or three people have the shared file open. When the file gets locked, the user is unable to save the changes they have made. The files are shared on a Windows Server 2008 Standard computer. The users are running Windows 7 and either Excel 2010 or Excel 2007. Can anyone shed some light on this?
