Event Viewer gets spammed and High CPU
Hi a server of ours gets this kinda events all the time, and the Microsoft.SBS.UpdateServices.SyncSecurity.exe runs high CPU. The Event comes back around every 10 Min. I tried the following things; C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 and C:\ProgramFiles\UpdateServices\WebServices\ServerSyncWebService. Change security permissions for Network Services so it could Modify. It was a trick i followed but didnt work. Someone got a clue? I recommend to double check the WSUS prerequisites: registration of ASP, security and IIS settings,... Unfortunately you have given no information about the history. Is it new phenomenon, or old one? Have you tested something or changed configuration. How did you install and configure WSUS. It would be better to solve this problem in WSUS forum.
