Just fired up a new 2003 Enterprise server and I'm getting constant Error messages in my Application log. Event ID: 1041 User: NT Authority\System Windows cannot query DIIName registry entry for (7b849a69-220f-451e-b3fe-2cb811af94ae) and it will not be loaded. This is most likely caused by a faulty registration. Can anybody explain what this error means and how to correct it?

To resolve this, please open the Registry Editor and check the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\{7B849a69-220F-451E-B3FE-2CB811AF94AE} Click on the above key, click File, click Export and save it as backup.reg.
