Error massage 0x8024000e while updating Windows Server 2008
Hi all;
Error message 0x8024000e appears when I run Windows Update on my newly installed Windows Server 2008 x64.
Any idea?

you have to install an xml parser otherwise your system can't read xml files.
The error means
0x8024000e WU_E_XML_INVALID
Windows Update Agent found invalid information in the update's XML data.

Hi,
If that does not resolve the issue, could you run this tool and report
back with anything that shows up in the
%systemroot%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log (usually %systemroot% is c:\Windows):
