Error in best practise DNS : DNS: Zone <zone name> is an Active Directory integrated DNS Zone and must be available
Hello and sorry for my english.
I had launch best practise analyser on the DNS role of my win 2008 R2.
It result an error : DNS: Zone <zone name> is an Active Directory integrated DNS Zone and must be available and link :
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff807395(WS.10).aspx
The exact error is :
Problem:
Unable to find _msdcs.domain.fr DNS zone Active Directory integrated.
Impact:
DNS queries for the zone Active Directory integrated _msdcs.domain.fr may fail.
Resolution:
Turn _msdcs.domain.fr integrated DNS zone to Active Directory.
So, in my DNS, i have _msdcs under domain.fr but not in the root console. I think it is the problem

and i don t understand the procedure to move _msdcs to the root.
Can someone can explain me step by step how to move _msdcs ?

if the _msdcs.domain.fr is missing this is normal after upgrading Windows 2000 server domains. Please follow case2 in:
