Error in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/

Good Day!

I am having some issue with my laptop running Windows 10. I scanned my computer today using Smadav 2015 Rev 10.1 it told me  I had a Trojan Virus and two registry errors. I was able to get rid of the Trojan but I have no idea on how to correct these errors in the registry. Below I have listed the registry that have the errors:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

Error is different string value

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}

Error is forbidden string

Hi,

Thanks for your post.

Various factors such as orphan keys, holes in the registry, duplicate keys, wrong shutdown etc, are the major reasons of Windows registry errors. And items such as viruses, adware, malware, Trojans and spyware can constantly generate entries into the registry, which can create lots of system flaws and damage the registry considerably.

Windows itself stores a backup of your registry under the folder: C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack

You could also try to restore it from backup back.

You may refer to Noel's suggestion.
