Hi, I built a webservice that connects to active directory in order to get AD User Information using LDAP. In LDAP I used a filter on the UserName (logged in user) To get the logged in user user in C# i used "User.Identy.Name". User.Idendity.Name does not return the Logged in username unless we disable the "anonymous access" on IIS 6.0 on the website where the Webservice is hosted. when i try to connect to he webservice using the http link from the server where it is hosted, everything works fine. But when i try to call the http link from a client machine it asks me to insert the credentials, i enter the credentials and it does not work. i have added the website link where the service is hosted to the local intranet sites in IE on the client. and still the same problem I added the user logging in on the client to the website where the service is hosted in the permissions and gave it full control and still the problem is persisting. How can i solve my problem Thanks a lot
