While creating a new active directory user, I tried to add the manager attribute (the organization tab). I enter the name and receive the following message: An object (user) with the following name cannot be found: "ad user name". Check the selected object types and locations for accuracy and ensure that you have typed the object name correctly, or remove this object from the selection. If I search for this user name I can find them, their account does exist, I can drill down through the different OU's and find the account look at it's properties etc. Why will the manager attribute not find this user?
