Error Forwarding the Microsoft-Windows-CAPI2/Operationa l Log

I'm interesting in doing/using Event Forwarding to forward CAPI2 events to a central server. Specifically events from the Microsoft-Windows-CAPI2/Operational Log. I'm already familiar with event forwarding and using it to forward from security,
application and other logs. When I try to forward from the Microsoft-Windows-CAPI2/Operational Log the forwarder returns an error. I started with the Machine Account but even tried my domain admin account and the forwarder says 'no active channel is
available'

I verified that the Microsoft-Windows-CAPI2/Operational Log is a .evtx log type. The channel access on CAPI seems different than other logs:
channelAccess: O:BAG:SYD:(A;;0x7;;;BA)(A;;0x2;;;AU)

Ultimately I'm try to centrally collect all the RSA keys less than 1024 per the recently posted blog.
