We have always run SCCM and used it mainly for End Point Protection and roll out off updates for End Point. We are now busy moving away from system Center but still want to use End Point protection.

What End Point protection Client can we use for Windows 8.1 and how can we deploy it? I assume we can still push updates via WSUS.

If you are licensed you can still install it manually, deploy it without SCCM is another topic.

You could use Windows Defender instead, builtin in the OS, basically the same defionitons and features as in SCEP.

Yes, you can update it from WSUS.
