Enabling RRAS cause ping to localhost fail

Hi.

Can someone help me here?

After enabling RRAS I am not able to ping 127.0.0.1 anymore.

Hi Tobias,

The loopback test may fail because TCP/IP stack is broken. Maybe we can reset TCP/IP to fix this problem.

We may reset TCP/IP protocol by the following steps:

  1. Open cmd
  2. At the commend prompt, enter nets int ip reset, press enter
  3. Restart the computer.

Besides, you have to sign in as "administrator " to reset it.

Hi Tobias, 

I have tested it in my lab for a long time by changing the configurations of RRAS, however, it is pity that the problem as you described didnt occur.

Does this issue occur at the beginning of the point that you set up RRAS, or occur after changing some configurations?

You may check the status of the "network interfaces" in the RRAS. Does the "Loopback interface" is "enabled"?

If it is possible, you may disable the routing and remote access, and configure it again,to see if the problem still exits.
