Where do I download ERD commander? I was told it was able to download from Microsoft's Website. I've been searching Google, but all I can find are *.iso files from websites like turrant or something and they wan't my credit card to download.

ERD Commander was a paid product from sysinternal. Any download's link will be a pirated's one. (In exemple Best buy got sued to had used it without license) Now that MS bougth sysinternal, I don't think the tool is updated. MCP | MCTS 70-236: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring

ERD Commander is a tool that was originally developed by Winternals (Windows Sysinternals). Microsoft acquired Winternals and its assets on July 18, 2006. Microsoft included this tool, firstly, in its Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) and changed its name to Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT). This tool has been developed further and its latest version is 7.0. Please consider that each version works only with some operating systems. Hi, I've reviewed all of those links and I still can't figure out how to download the thing. It gives directions on how to use the iso file to make the boot disc, and all kinds of information, but I can't find any information about downloading it...

As I said in my previous post, ERD Command (now it is called Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset) is part of Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) and so, you cannot download it separately. MDOP is available for test and evaluation to MSDN and TechNet subscribers in accordance with MDSN and TechNet agreements. As R.Alikhani pointed out, ERD is now part of DaRT, and is only available with the proper MSDN subscription / Licencing agreement. BUT... Currently (as of May 26 2012) Microsoft is currently putting DaRT 8 into Beta Testing, and practically anyone with a Windows Live account can download it after submitting to a questionnaire. You must submit a company to be included in the testing, but that is basically the only requirement.
