Download Software to Standalone Server
Hello,
I am trying to download a CAD dwg viewer software to a standalone server, running with windows server 2008. I get an error message that the system cannot find the path specified. C:\Users\ADMINI\~1\Appdata\Local\Temp\1\AID9B5.tmp\\x64dwgviewer\dwgviewr.msi.
There is no internet to this server. Do I need to create the msi file, if so how do I do this.
Thank-you

Hi,
It seems that you want to copy a file from one computer to another, why not copy the file to the memory stick and then plug it to the standalone
server?
By the way, what did you mean by "download software"?

Hello Vincent,
It is not a file. It is a software program called TrueView 2012. I need it to be able to view CAD dwgs. I need to install it on my server from the memory stick.
Thank-you

Hello,
seems for that the problem belongs somehow to the software itself, so i would contact the vendor also about, especially about the support on Windows server 2008.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Hi,
Based on the following link, Windows Server 2008 is not a supported operating system for TrueView.

By the way, this is a TrueView issue, it is recommend that you contact Autodesk to get the further research. Thanks for your understanding.
