Can I easily downgrade a database from Business to Web?  Will my data (well under 1GB) be kept or lost?  Many thanks!

Hello,

Windows Azure SQL Database support downgrade from Business to Web and change database size. However, you may received the following error when you downgrade the database using ALTER statement with current size bigger than the current limit, and  the downgrade operation failed.

Operation failed because the resulting cumulative database size would exceed your database sku limit.
