Hi,
We would like to migrate to new domain (external.local), which is the same as UPN suffix used.
Is it possible?
I assume that you have purchased the domain name external.local, and you want to keep using it for the new domain.
Technically, it is possible.
There are a few steps you will need to perform:
- On the public DNS Server where the public domain name external.local
record is hosted, change public IP address to the new DNS host of the new domain.
- Delete stale domain information from the Manage Domains page of Office 365 portal.
- Add new domain information from the same page.
Please note, only perform steps above after domain migration process is completed successfully.
