Can you explain a little more as to what you are after ? Services startup order ? GPO processing ? I am not saying any of the docs exists....but if you can expand on your question, I think it would help. - Stuart Hudman

Hello, You could refer to the following link which provide the detailed description of Windows Startup process on Windows XP. The Windows XP Professional startup process closely resembles that of Windows Server 2003. (Including Windows Server 2003 domain controller.) Troubleshooting the Startup Process http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457123.aspx If youd like to learn more detailed booting procedure of Windows Server 2003, I recommend you refer to some books like Microsoft Windows Internals. You could see the description of the book in the below link: http://www.microsoft.com/MSPress/books/6710.aspx Thanks. Regards, Neo Zhu
