Does anyone know of a good, freedomain inventory tool?I'm looking for something that can get hostnames, IP's, and maybe some hardware infoon servers in my domain.Thanks,Scott

You could download the Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) tool. It is designed for assessing your environment for consolidation and/or virtualization, but it has an inventory capability built in. It is also an agent-less tool, so you don't have to install anything on any of the nodes in your domains. It is also very non-intrusive. In other words, it does not put a noticeable load on the network or on the machines being inventoried.
