Secure channel between the client and domain controller is broken. You need to reset the secure channel for this client. For each workstation or server that is a member of a domain, there is a discrete communication channel, known as the security channel, with a domain controller. Use this command to reset the secure channel - netdom reset 'machinename' /domain:'domainname where 'machinename' = the local computer name and 'domainname' = the domain where the computer/machine account is stored. Suppose you have a domain member named DOMAINMEMBER in a domain called MYDOMAIN. You can reset the member security channel by using the following command: netdom reset domainmember /domain:mydomain Ref- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216393 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810977 Sachin Gadhave (MCP, MCTS)

Hello, seems the secure channel is broken. Is that the DC having the problem or a client computer? Assuming to the part from the error (please provide the next time the COMPLETE event viewer error) a client machine. This can belong to the installation as one problem source, so are the machines created from a NOT SYSPREPPED image/clone? Do you use only the domain DNS servers on the domain machines and NONE else like your ISP or the local DG?Best regards Meinolf Weber MVP, MCP, MCTS Microsoft MVP - Directory Services My Blog: http://msmvps.com/blogs/mweber/ Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
