Dll modified_date getting changed
HI,My client is using Windows Server 2003 Sp2. When ever user uses any application dlls modified_date get changed to current date and time.Can someone please let me know if there some setting in the windows box which can stop date/time changing to current.ThanksManoj

He's asking the same thing that I've been trying to figure out for two years. With Server 2003 SP2, if the Admin creates a shared folder on the local disk, maps a network drive on the server back to the share, and installs to the network location (from the server), the Date Modified time for all the files are shown as the "current time" (of installation). This only seem to occurred after I updated it SP2 (I tested this on a physical machine and serveral virtuals). This only happens when you do it at the server. I'm experiencing this with InstallShield. Does't occur of the share is located on another server, or if the installation (copy process) is done from a separate client pc or server.

if the Admin creates a shared folder on the local disk, maps a network drive on the server back to the share, and installs to the network location (from the server), sorry I am having a hard time wrapping my head around "and installs to the network location". installs what? just any app? also cant remember, but does the command fsutil behavior query disablelastaccess work under 2003? and if so whats the value?
