Disk Space Balloon message not show
Hello!
I have a windows 2003 server and a user complain about that he didn't get any warning message about free disk space under 20%.
I checked the registry and the threshold is set to 20(% decimal). And there is no other registry settings to disable the balloon message.
After that i checked the GPOs, but all of them set "not configured" for balloons.
Any idea what can block the messages?
Or please give me a .vbs script how to show a balloon message for this. -> I have created an alert in perf logs and alert. It's reporting in the eventlog. But the user need the balloon message for know about the low disk space.I Hate Mondays

Hi,
Have a look on this article, check whether the key exists on the user's computer.

It seems that there is no way to show the balloon manually. Will do more test.
Meanwhile it is more likely a client system issue, thus you may post the thread on a client system forum.Shaon Shan |TechNet Subscriber Support in forum |If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
