We are migrating our 2003 SP1 Server Private/Public share to new hardware and want to keep the Disk quota's the same as well as the users current size used. I have tested kb308664 and found that export/import disk quota's works just fine. The issue is when we restore/copy the users information back onto the new hardware because we, as admins, are doing the restore/copy it is not tracked under each users disk quota so on the new hardware it show the admin disk quota as being very large and everyone else set to 0 zero. So does anyone know of a way to migrate the users information and still have the disk quota information stay correct? Is there a registry key for each user that we can export and then import on the new hardware so that it show the correct disk quota per user?

Copy everyhing with Robocopy and it'll keep the owner-information which is how quota is tracked.
