Discussion: SSTP Certificate
I have a VPN server configured for SSTP access. I need a certificate for SSTP so I had to create a new certificate model: I duplicate the RAS and IAS Server template and then went to Extentions > Application Policies and left only Server Authentication. Can anyone confirm to me that this is the template I need?

That should work. The sstp server is simply an SSL certificate. The only issue you may have is that the DNS name in that certificate is based on the DNS name of the computer, not a CNAME if you are publishing the SSTP server to the internet and using an alias. If you need an alias, consider using the Web SErver certificate template instead. Brian

Thanks Brian. I am not publishing the server using its CNAME so this should work. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
