Disaster Recovery windows server 2008 terminal server
My client had an issue where the hard drives were stolen from the servers and unfortunately the servers were damaged in the process. The two servers were running windows sbs 2008 and windows server 2008 rc2 terminal services respectively. Backups were
available and I managed to restore the sbs server to a completely different system with no issues I could not resolve.
However the windows 2008 rc2 is giving me a headache I can do the recovery, but when it comes to running the OS it blue screens on me, I tried it on an hp ml110 it failed and I tried it on a virtual box virtual machine it failed there as well.
Does anyone here know or have any ideas of a walk around or a bare metal migration I can do because I have the files its just getting the system to run without blue screening that bugging me. I tried safe mode boot logging and the lot still no luck.
Any help and suggestions welcome.

Hello,
sounds for me that you are using different hardware, which often result in blue screens. If youa re ablto to start the server in safe mode remove all Graphic drivers, often they are the reason for the blue screen.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Hi,
Please try to uninstall and reinstall all the hardware drivers to check the result.
If the issue persists, please contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist
with your request. To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below:
