Hi

We got the task to secure our environment by disable some of the component

1. Netstat ( I am not able to find services or reg from where I can disable it )

2. X-Windows( As i know it is unix based and came in some servers of windows I dont know how to disable it )

if any one can suggest how to disable these by batch file,reg key, services

What do you mean by "x-windows ... still it is showing up". Its showing up where as what.

Open TaskManager and check the process its linked to. It might give you the clue of the executable responsible f
