Disable prompt for credentials in version 8.0.14 for OSX 10.10.2

Just upgraded to remote desktop version 8.0.14 on my Mac. Now, every time i connect to our remote environment it will ask for my credentials before the connection is established. We use Novell and i should ask me to provide my Novell credentials. As I do also have an AD account it logs me right into the computer. Our users however, only use Novell and the login will not work.

I remember this problem from when I use Windows 7/8/8.1 to connect to another workstation computer through RDP. There I could work around this problem by editing the .rdp file with notepad and adding "prompt for credentials:i:0". This allowed me to connect to the workstation first, than see the login-screen and enter my Novell credentials. However is there a way to do it on OSX?

Best regards, Mathias

Hi,

Sorry to say but there is no such option available with MRD MAC. But you can pass the credential of user and save it, which can use as future credential for login. Still if you want then can refer URI scheme for information.

Hope it helps!

Thanks.

I updated to 8.0.14 on march 20th and did not notice that the same day 8.0.15 was released. Now it works like it did before 8.0.14. Problem resolved! Thanks for the advice! Mathias
