Disable 'Put your profile to work for you' in People Search

When a a user searches for their own name in SharePoint 2013, it brings back their information, along with an extra result block that starts with 'Put your profile to work for you'. When clicked, this link takes the user to their User Profile, where they can edit their user profile. In our organization, we use Office 365 for people to manage their profiles, and do not want people to access their on-prem user profile. Is there a way to disable the 'Put your profile to work for you' block?

Hi cflbasser,

We can use IE browser F12 tool to detect the element of "Put your profile to work for you" block, the id is "SelfSearchInfo", then we can comment out the div block element of  "SelfSearchInfo" from Item_Person.html (using a copied file to test firstly) display template file from SharePoint Designer, then check-in the file as a major version, then test again.
